Temperature of staining solution

The dyeing of aluminum veneer is divided into cold dyeing and hot dyeing. Cold dyeing has been used for a longer period in the production process, allowing for better control over color uniformity; hot dyeing, though used for a shorter period, is more difficult to manipulate in terms of color. The temperature for hot dyeing is generally between 40°C and 60°C. If the temperature is too high, it will reduce the adsorption of the dye, easily causing the surface of the aluminum veneer to bloom.

The impact of oxide film on the quality of aluminum veneer

The oxide film refers to the thickness, porosity, transparency, etc. of the aluminum veneer. The thickness of the oxide film in the aluminum veneer can be maintained at over 10 micrometers, allowing for optimal porosity and transparency, and thus achieving the best dyeing quality.

The concentration of the staining solution

The concentration of the dyeing solution is related to the dyeing process. After coloring the aluminum veneer, the concentration is relatively low, and the dark color is slightly higher. If the dyeing concentration is high, uneven or floating colors may occur, which are easily seen during the cleaning and closing of the "flowing color". To improve the adsorption ability of the dye to the dye, a low concentration of color is used to prolong the dyeing process, allowing the dye molecules to penetrate more evenly into the depth of the oxide film pores, resulting in a more harmonious and firm color.

The influence of raw materials on aluminum veneer parts

Generally, high-purity aluminum, aluminum-magnesium, and aluminum-manganese alloys exhibit the best dyeing performance in the production process after anodizing, allowing them to be dyed in a variety of colors. For plates with a higher content of silicon or copper, they can only be dyed in dark colors and black during the dyeing process, resulting in a more monotonous color palette.
